Guard Sentenced For Sexual Misconduct

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A guard at the Indianapolis Juvenile Correctional Facility will spend six-months on work release for allowing a 16 year-old inmate to perform oral sex on him.
Octavius Tyler, 27, pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony counts of sexual misconduct. The encounter reportedly happened in 2006.
Tyler made no statement to the court before receiving his sentence.
In addition to serving time on work-release, he will spend one year on probation.
Tyler was taken away from the courtroom in handcuffs.
