Abandoned Buildings Destroyed By Fire

(EVANSVILLE) - A suspicious fire on the eastside of Evansville looked worse that it was.

Two abandoned buildings were destroyed in the smoky fire reported Saturday evening by a nearby store owner who observed the smoke from his store's security cameras.

He accessed the cameras from his home computer and called 911 when he noticed the view was obscured by smoke.

There were no injuries.
