State's New Welfare System Could See Early Expansion

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Family and Social Services Administration and its private partners may extend the rollout of the state’s new automated welfare system as soon as next week.
As many as 27 counties in Southern and Western Indiana could be included in the expansion.
The new system has been piloted in 12 Northern Indiana counties since late October.
