Man Dead Following Shootout With Police

(BATTLE GROUND) - A man who shot at officers trying to serve him a warrant is dead following a shootout overnight inside a battle ground home.
An unidentified sheriff's deputy was also shot in the arm. He was treated and released from a hospital.
Authorities say 54-year-old Carl Bryan fatally shot himself with a revolver. Police found his body early this morning after the standoff lasted several inside the house near Lafayette.
Officers had been trying to serve a warrant on a domestic battery charge to the man since Tuesday.
