(UNDATED) - A new survey gives Indiana a failing grade when it comes to women’s health.

"Making The Grade On Women's Health" ranks the Hoosier state 40 out of 50 when it comes to things like smoking, obesity, and the infant mortality rate.

Larry Humbert is Executive Director of the Indiana Perinatal Network and says the numbers are very concerning. Humbert says the state simply isn't doing enough to provide better health care for women and their children.

Humbert says Indiana is woefully behind much of the country, even with the number of smokers dwindling.
