Gas Stations Offering Refunds Following Price Gouging
Last updated on Thursday, March 20, 2008
(UNDATED) - Three gas stations in Hendricks County are providing refunds after an inquiry about excessive pricing by the Indiana attorney general’s office.
The stations charged more than 4 dollars a gallon last Friday, before dropping prices later in the day.
The stations will give customers refunds between the market price at the time and the higher price. That's a difference of about $0.70 a gallon.
