(MUNCIE) - Former Delaware County Prosecutor Michael J. “Mick” Alexander wants a conspiracy-to-commit-bribery charge pending against him to be thrown out of court.

His longtime private investigator, Jeff Hinds, wants a new judge to be assigned to his bribery case and wants to be stand trial separately from Alexander.

The pair are accused of facilitating payments from one of Alexander's clients to three Muncie men in exchange for their willingness to change their testimony in a criminal case.

Alexander continues to maintain his innocence in the incident.
