Public Defender Makes Court Appearance, For Breaking The Law
(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Marion County public defender caught in a sex sting has made his initial court appearance.
29-year old Ryan Snyder faces four felonies, including attempted sexual misconduct with a minor. The charges stem from a sex sting by IMPD.
Deputy Prosecutor David Wyser says Snyder corresponded with two officers on the internet posing as 14 and 15 year old girls.
Snyder was arrested after agreeing to meet with the girls for sex. He has pleaded not guilty and his trial has been set for April 28th.
Snyder is currently free on bond and faces a maximum of more than 30 years in prison if convicted on all the charges.
