(INDIANAPOLIS) - Three years of work is finally coming together for Indianapolis’ janitors.

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) headed to the bargaining table Thursday with several of the city's cleaning companies. The union represents fifteen-hundred city janitors.

Negotiating Committee Member Carla Henn says the janitors are asking for better wages, health care and basic rights. Some of the janitors are currently making less than $10,000 dollars a year and have no health insurance.
