Dropout Damages Former School Property
(HOBART) - A 19-year-old high school dropout has been charged with criminal mischief for causing an estimated $35,000 damage to Hobart High School.
Police arrested Justin M. Koon of Hobart after a tip that he had bragged about the vandalism. He was charged with one count criminal mischief, two counts of auto theft and one count theft.
On Monday, one stolen car was driven into the entrance of the school and another was driven into a historic bronze bell once used to summon students to class. The bell dates to the 1870s.
