Animal Welfare Board Member Faces Neglect Charges

(VALPARAISO) - She was once an animal welfare board member. Now a Valparaiso woman is facing 10 charges for neglect of a vertebrate animal.
Animal control officers who went to 49-year-old Bonnie Frye's property reported finding animals wading through eight inches of fecal matter. They also said the animals were denied food and water.
Frye left the Animal Welfare Board earlier this week. She faces fines and six months in jail in convicted on neglect charges.
