Teens Avoid Charges In Newborn's Death

(ANDERSON) - Charges likely won’t be filed against a Southern Madison County teen girl and her teen boyfriend, also of Madison County, after she gave birth in secret last February and the boy hid the dead baby inside a locked toolbox on his parents’ property.
Prosecutor Thomas Broderick Jr. said charges haven't been filed in the case because evidence strongly suggests the baby was stillborn.
