Last updated on Sunday, January 27, 2008
(CHESTERTON) - Big brother will be watching South Shore Railroad customers.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced Friday it's putting cameras on all 68 passenger cars by the end of the year. The department will cover all the cost of the project. A Chicago company will do it for around $711,000 dollars.
Four digital video recorders will be installed in and outside of each car.
