(INDIANAPOLIS) - A group of black nurses who worked at Marion County Jail #2 is suing the company that runs the facility.

The nurses claim they were retaliated against by Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) after filing complaints on how inmates were given medication, and in some cases not given any.

The nurses also claim they were discriminated against because they are black. Some of the nurses allege they were forced to walk through raw sewage when other white employees were allowed to leave work due to the sewage problem.

Five of the nurses resigned in fear of being fired, but one still works at the jail.
