Knox County Customers To Help Pay For New Duke Energy Facility

(KNOX COUNTY) - Duke Energy customers in Knox County will see their bills increase by 16% between this year and 2012.
The increase will help pay for Duke's new $2-billion dollar coal gasification power plant. The company won a state environmental air permit Friday for the plant in Southwest Indiana.
Duke says the plant will be make history for being one of the cleanest coal-fired power plants in the world.
