Book Scam Plaguing Brownsburg Area

(BROWNSBURG ) - Residents in Brownsburg are being warned to use caution if they’re approached by a house-to-house book salesman.
A Hendricks County Sheriff's Department official sent out a news release saying two residents in Brown Township recently reported two men came to their doors offering to take orders for books. Once the orders were taken and paid for, the books never arrived.
