New Elkhart Arena To Host Prom And Commencement Events

(ELKHART) - The push continues for a new arena in Elkhart County.
County Commissioner Terro Rodino has tried to pursue a study on the idea, but has been shot down twice by his fellow commissioners.
Rodino's plan would open up the possibility of a place for Elkhart-area high schools to hold prom and commencement events in Elkhart County. High schools have had to hold those events in neighboring St. Joseph County, due to a lack of space.
The busy intersection at County Road 17 and U.S. 20 has been mentioned as a potential site.
