Driver Flees, Shot During Chase

(FORT WAYNE) - Additional information is expected to be released today on a fatal police action shooting in Fort Wayne.
An officer tried to pull a car over Sunday for reckless driving . The driver sped off, leading police in a brief chase.
The driver later crashed his car. Shots were fired as officers tried to make an arrest.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
