Deputy Spending Christmas Recovering After Crash

(ANDERSON) - A Madison County sheriff’s deputy is spending Christmas recovering from injuries suffered in a two-car crash.
Patrol Officer Joey Cole was driving on county road 400 South when he collided with another car Christmas Eve. The crash caused Cole to drive off the road. He struck several trees.
Cole is a 21-year department veteran and was wearing a seat belt. His injuries are said to be minor.
