Colorful Ties On The Line In Governor's Bowl Bet
Last updated on Saturday, December 29, 2007
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana University’s football team is headed for Tempe, Arizona, for IU’s first bowl game in 14 years… and Governor Daniels is making one of those political wagers on the game.
Daniels and Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry are betting a basket of home-state products on the Insight Bowl game against Oklahoma State.
If IU wins, Henry has to wear an IU tie. A loss means Daniels will wear a tie in the Cowboys' orange and black.
