Brothers And Sister To Spend Christmas Behind Bars
Last updated on Saturday, December 22, 2007
(LAFAYETTE) - Three young Lafayette siblings won’t spend Christmas at home.
That's because they're accused of stealing gifts from a community center. A juvenile court judge says she hopes the 10-year-old boy, 11-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy use their time at a detention center to reflect on what they did.
Police say the children broke into a locked toy room and stole or damage about $400 dollars worth of gifts for needy children.
