(UNDATED) - State police officers statewide will soon be using a new electronic ticketing system called E-CWS (Electronic Citation and Warning System).
This system was developed by the Indiana Supreme Court's Judicial Technology and Automation Committee.
It will allow troopers and commercial motor vehicle officers to scan drivers and registrations into their laptop computers and generate a computerized ticket for the violator, courts and the officer.
