Security Guard Shoots Man Lunging With Power Saw

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police say an apartment complex security guard shot and killed a man who lunged at him from a closet with a power saw.
Police say 22-year-old Nicholas House of Greenfield acted in self defense when he shot the alleged intruder inside an empty apartment at the Spanish Oaks Apartment Complex on the East Side of Indianapolis Monday night.
Police say House found two men hiding in a bedroom closet. One man rushed at House with the saw and house fired about four times. The other man fled the scene.
Investigators believe the two may have been trying to steal copper wire.
