Madison County Airport A "Dead Issue", Says Anderson Mayor-Elect

(ANDERSON) - Anderson mayor-elect Kris Ockomon told a crowd of more than 200 people Monday night that the airport proposal in Southwest Madison County is a dead issue.
Ockomon's comments came during an Anderson airport value awareness meeting.
In May, aviation consulting firm Aerofinity undertook a feasibility study on behalf of the town of Fishers for a replacement airport that would consolidate Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport in Fishers and Anderson Municipal Airport in a single location near Lapel.
