Authorities Seeking Details In Bald Eagle Poaching
Last updated on Tuesday, November 27, 2007
(MONGO) - Authorities are investigating the poaching of a bald eagle.
Two hunters found the bald eagle last weekend at the pigeon river fish and wildlife area located near mongo in Lagrange County.
Authorities aren't saying how the bird was killed. They did reveal it had been banded in Michigan in May of 2006.
The United States Fish and Wildlife Service is offering a reward of up to five-thousand dollars for information that leads to an arrest.
