(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - Prosecutors say a Wingate man will plead guilty next month to being on cocaine and marijuana when he plowed into a group of motorcyclists and killed three of them.

25-year-old Rodney Newkirk faces anywhere from 15 to 67 years when he's sentenced next month.

The crash last fall killed a Zionsville doctor and two other cyclists as they rode on State Road 234 near Ladoga.

Newkirk was arrested again for impaired driving two days after posting bond in the accident.

His plea bargain includes those charges.
