(LOUISVILLE, KY) - The 19-year-old accused of murdering her newborn baby is out of jail.

Kathryn McCoy's family posted the 50-thousand dollar bond Friday afternoon.

Police say the Bellarmine University student from Plainfield gave birth to her baby in a toilet Tuesday evening, and then threw the baby girl's body away.

Besides a murder charge, McCoy faces charges of tampering with physical evidence and concealing the birth of a child.

McCoy will go back to court November 5th.
