Boat Owner Dies During Lake Dive
(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Monticello diver and owner of an entertainment boat died Saturday morning at Methodist Hospital, four days after he had been injured while working underwater at a dam at Lake Shafer.
William J. Luse III was the third-generation owner of the Madam Carroll, a popular entertainment boat that cruises Lake Freeman near Monticello.
The cause of his death was not available but was related to the injuries he suffered Tuesday morning when he became trapped about 10 feet underwater for about 15 minutes. His air supply was cut off for an unknown amount of time.
