(UNDATED) - The Indiana Blood Center is in critical need of type O-negative blood.

The shortage is caused by a spike in demand for O-negative by the more than 60 hospitals supplied by the Indiana Blood Center.

Donors are encouraged to visit any of the 14 statewide Indiana Blood Center locations.
