Last updated on Monday, September 24, 2007
(ANDERSON) - Weeks after the grand opening of the new Coffeemate and Nesquik factory in Anderson, an employee has been arrested on charges of stealing copper wire from the plant.
Police say 26-year-old John Gilbert Jr. of Chesterfield faces charges of theft and resisting arrest after another worker called the cops.
Police say they found a receipt in Gilbert's truck indicating he'd collected three-thousand dollars in five visits to a local scrap yard.
