Rep. Buyer To Hold Service Academy Day At Purdue
(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Indiana Congressman Steve Buyer is hosting a service academy day at Purdue University’s Armory this Saturday.
High school students interested in applying to one of the US service academies are encouraged to attend.
The military academy in West Point, New York; the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland; the Air Force Academy in Colorado, and the Merchant Marine Academy in King's Point, New York, will all send cadets to the event to speak with prospective students and share their experiences.
Congressman Buyer is accepting applications for nomination to the federal service academies through the first of November. Anyone who has questions about the event or the schools are encouraged to either call Joe Oyler at (574) 583-9819 or visit www.stevebuyer.house.gov.
