Officer Falls Through Skylight During Burglary Investigation

(RICHMOND) - A Richmond police officer is in critical condition after he fell through a fiberglass skylight while investigating a reported burglary at a car dealer.
Officer Nicolas Guenther responded to the burglary alarm late last night at Wetzel Chevrolet on the city's far east side, and was walking on the roof of the service bays to look for a suspect.
Guenther fell about 30 feet to the concrete floor below.
Police later found an injured suspect lying on the ground. He, too, had reportedly fallen through the roof of the building.
