Fort Wayne Bus Driver To Spend 8 Years Behind Bars

(FORT WAYNE) - A Fort Wayne bus driver who admitted he had a female passenger with down syndrome perform a sex act on him will spend eight years in prison.
Christino Alvarez was given the sentence Monday following an August 14th guilty plea to a charge of criminal deviate conduct. Alvarez admitted during the August hearing that he knew the woman was incapable of giving consent.
The woman has an IQ of 66 and functions at the mental level of a 10-year-old.
