Elwood Boy Dies In Above-Ground Pool

(ELWOOD) - A 2-year-old boy is dead after drowning in an above-ground pool in the backyard of an Elwood home.
Madison County Deputy Coroner Marian Dunnichay says Kamden Carroll died Sunday afternoon at the emergency room of St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood, about 35 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
Police speculate that the boy saw a beach ball floating in the pool, and climbed in to get it.
