Auto Worker Killed At Kokomo Casting Plant

(KOKOMO) - A worker at the Kokomo Daimler-Chrysler casting plant was killed Saturday.
Investigators say 48 year-old John Kelly Wright, of Logansport, died instantly when he was crushed by a machine.
A spokesperson for the automaker expressed condolences to Wright's family, saying "it's very unfortunate."
The State Occupational Safety and Health Administration will work with the plant to investigate the fatal accident.
Production at the plant was stopped for 24-hours following the incident.
