Anderson Man Accused Of Killing 14-Year-Old Girl

(ANDERSON) - An Anderson man has been arraigned on a charge of murdering a 14-year-old girl.
Prosecutors accuse 20-year-old Jesse Pitts of beating Amanda Brinker to death with a jack handle.
Police zeroed in on Pitts after he called 911 to report finding the body in a city park -- they say the body was hidden well enough to make it unlikely Pitts could have just stumbled on it.
