(SEYMOUR) - It’s always a good idea to wear your seat belt, especially if you’re a wanted bank robber.

Yesterday, while working the Operation "Pull Over" project, a Seymour state trooper noticed a blue Chevy Blazer pass him by with the driver not wearing a seat belt. The trooper pulled the driver over, and the driver informed him he didn't have his license, handing him his social security card.

It turns out the driver was 40-year-old Rodney Prewitt of Charlestown, who is wanted in Paducah, Kentucky for bank robbery.

Prewitt is in the Jackson County jail awaiting extradition to the State of Kentucky.
