Lafayette Woman Charged For Letting 5 Year Old Drive

(LAFAYETTE) - A Lafayette woman faces charges of neglect and public intoxication after her 5-year-old son was found driving her car.
Tippecanoe County sheriff's deputies were called Saturday after neighbors reported finding the child behind the wheel. The mother, Holly Schnobrich and her 3-year-old son were also in the car.
The 5-year-old told a sheriff's deputy that he had been driving but was having a hard time because he couldn't reach the pedals.
