Feds Examine Mine Shaft Accident In Princeton
(PRINCETON) - The investigation continues into the deadly mine accident in Gibson County.
The Federal Mine Safety and Health Administration has been on the scene. Three construction workers died when they fell 50 stories down a mine shaft Friday.
Gibson County chief deputy George Ballard says his agency is assisting as federal investigators continue their probe into what caused the accident.
Meanwhile, family members of the three men killed in the accident say the group was inspecting the work when they died. One of the men was 66-year-old Daniel McFadden of Greybull, Wyoming. He was co-founder of the construction company.
