(INDIANAPOLIS) - About 300 people showed up in front of the governor’s mansion at 46th and meridian in Indianapolis to show their displeasure over recent property tax increases.

Many have seen taxes double as Marion County deals with a crimewave and money crunch.

Homeowners just can't understand priorities like the new Colts stadium and the many public private partnerships as tax bills increase. Many people were holding house for sale signs.

Andrew Horning is a volunteer for Americans For Fair Taxation and says the action is a demonstration he says people will see protests if politicians decide to vote to raise taxes again.
