(NEW ALBANY) - Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson has released a recording and transcript of the dispatch tape from the June 18th shooting on two sheriff’s deputies.

Floyd County Sheriff's Deputy Joel White told a dispatcher, "I'm down, I can't move. Other officer is down."

White, seriously wounded, also warned that the youth who had just shot him and fellow Deputy Frank Denzinger was still inside his home with a rifle and was out of view.

Denzinger died of his wounds that night, and the gunman--15-year-old Tyler Dumstorf--committed suicide with the same rifle he used to shoot the deputies.

White is back home after being released from rehabilitation Tuesday.

Reports say the radio transmissions released Thursday reflected the rapid buildup of police units around the scene and the efforts to locate the gunman and rescue the officers.
