Last Hoosier Restaurant Chain Store To Close
Last updated on Friday, July 06, 2007
(RICHMOND) - Indiana’s last Rax Roast Beef restaurant will close on Saturday.
The Columbus, Ohio-based chain began in 1978 as a competitor to Arby's, and had 35 Indiana locations including one in Bedford in the late '80s.
Rax declared bankruptcy in 1992. The restaurant in Richmond was one of just 18 still surviving nationwide.
