Identity Theft Raises Awareness Of Personal Credit
(UNDATED) - Consumer advocates say the bust-up of an alleged identity theft ring in Florida should remind you to keep close tabs on your credit reports.
About 2,000 Indiana customers of Star Financial bank were among the victims of hackers who stole numbers from T.J. Maxx and other stores and ran up $75 million in charges.
Marjorie Stephens with the Better Business Bureau of northern Indiana says you need to read your credit card statement each month and make sure all the charges are accurate.
