Woman Found Dead At Holiday World

(SANTA CLAUS) - Indiana State Police are investigating a death that occurred Wednesday at the world’s first theme park in Spencer County.
A female was found unconscious and floating face down in the wave pool at Holiday World Amusement Park in Santa Claus.
The 29-year-old woman, from Fort Wayne, and her boyfriend were in the water park when lifeguards noticed the lifeless body. They tried to revive her, along with the Spencer County EMS.
She was immediately taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The name of the deceased is pending after family members have been notified.
Police continue to investigate and more details will be released once they become available.
