(INDIANAPOLIS) - Michele Dessauer’s family will charge a quarter for a small glass of lemonade at their “property tax relief” lemonade stand outside their Indianapolis home Saturday morning.

The idea came to them after their property taxes went up $140 a month. They have neighbors whose bill went up even more.

Dessauer says the whole idea of the lemonade stand is to show their disappointment in what they call the unfair method used to calculate tax bills.
