Evansville Mom Charged With Neglect

(EVANSVILLE) - A woman is facing neglect charges after police found her teenage son naked in the front yard of her home.
41-year-old Evansville resident Laura Peach was released on bond yesterday from the Vanderburgh County Jail, where she had been held on four counts of neglect.
The 14-year-old boy's 17-year-old brother reportedly told police the younger boy was autistic and could not speak. He also told police his mother was at the county fair with his two other brothers, ages 10 and 11.
Police claim the home was filled with trash, dirty diapers and broken furniture. They also claim there was no food in the home.
The children have been placed into the custody of child protective services.
