State Officials To Make Tobacco Control Announcement

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Governor Mitch Daniels, State Health Commissioner Judy Monroe and Indiana Tobacco Prevention Cessation executive director Karla Sneegas are all expected to be on hand this morning to make a major announcement about tobacco control in Indiana.
State officials are expected to gather in Indianapolis saying the announcement will be on tobacco cessation, Indiana's smoking rates and efforts to reduce the number of adult smokers in Indiana.
The announcement will explain how people can connect to resources to help them quit.
