South Bend Officer Remembered

(SOUTH BEND) - South Bend police officer Nick Polizzotto was remembered yesterday as a caring father, son and brother at his funeral.
About 1,000 people filled Notre Dame'S Joyce Center. The 34-year-old Polizzotto was killed in a shoot-out last Tuesday.
Among those attending the funeral were U.S. Congressman Joe Donnelly, former Governor Joe Kernan, Notre Dame President John Jenkins and Bishop John D'Arcy.
