(RICHMOND) - State and local officials are still trying to identify what has killed fish in Springwood Lake Park in Richmond.
The 4-acre spring-fed north-side Richmond Lake is now closed to the public after park employees noticed dead fish floating on the lake.
The Department of Natural resources estimates about 250 fish were killed by some type of contaminant that leaked into the lake.
