(CONCORD, N.H.) - If you’re camping this summer, state and federal forest agencies want you to leave your firewood at home.
It's an ongoing effort to stop the spread of tree-killing insects that hitch a ride on the wood.
The emerald ash borer has been attacking trees in Indiana and other Midwestern states and officials hope the ban will prevent the insect from scattering further into the state.
